Co-Pilot program · Start your own fundraiser
Every rescue mission needs a Co-Pilot.
No pilot’s license. No secret-agent training. Just five minutes and your Facebook page.
Co-Pilots run their own fundraising page for Flying Tails, rally friends and family, and help fuel rescue flights for animals who are out of time. Every dollar you raise counts toward our $25,000 Operation Animal Rescue mission.

The dossier
So what is a Co-Pilot, exactly?
A Co-Pilot is a Flying Tails supporter with their own fundraising page: your personal Rescue Mission. You pick a goal, tell people why rescue flights matter to you, and share your link. Friends give right on your page, the money goes straight to Flying Tails, and you watch your progress climb.
Our volunteer pilots fly the planes. You make sure they have the fuel to take off.

Mission briefing Q&A
Questions, answered
What exactly is a Co-Pilot?
A Flying Tails supporter who runs a personal fundraising page, called your Rescue Mission. You share your link, friends donate on your page, and every gift goes to Flying Tails and counts toward Operation Animal Rescue.
Do I need to be a pilot?
Not at all. Our volunteer pilots do the flying. Your job is to spread the word and rally your crew.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. There is no sign-up fee and no required donation.
How long does setup take?
About five minutes. Create your account, set a goal, add a photo and a few words, and share.
Does the money go through me?
Never. Donors give securely on flyingtails.org. Flying Tails processes every gift and emails each donor a tax receipt (EIN 93-1420194).
What if I don’t hit my goal?
That’s fine. Your goal is a target, not a requirement. Every dollar you raise still helps fuel rescue flights.
Can my office, club or school join together?
Yes. Start a squadron with a shared goal, or have everyone launch a page and compete on the leaderboard.
What’s a call sign?
An optional fun nickname, like a pilot’s. It shows on the Co-Pilot leaderboard next to your name.
Do I need social media?
Facebook is the fastest way to rally your crew, but it’s not required. Text and email work great too.
